This video is embedded from Vimeo. Embedded or linked videos won’t auto play; the user has to click the play icon. I did manage to get rid of the “See more” ending (outtro). There are a lot of options for the outtro. It can be text, or a form, an image, a call to action, loop. or back to the beginning like this one. So, one more thing to think about!

The alternative is to use one that’s uploaded to the site, like the one below. It started playing the instant the page loaded (auto play), but it’s muted (a fixed setting with auto play) until the user clicks unmute. So, downsides to both methods. Another downside to uploaded videos is they can only be one minute long. This one is fine, but it’s a constraint to keep in mind.

On a slightly different topic, the “G”s below are a PNG file (as opposed to a JPEG). PNG files can have transparent backgrounds. Notice how there is no white box around the image. I’ll try and get your entire logo into a PNG (I did the other day, but must not have saved it?) Anyway, the PNG/transparent background logo will look much nicer in the header.

Okay, so I figured out a workaround for transparent background thing. You have to create the background in Photoshop and then add it to the site. So to get the background of the logo to blend with the header background, the file needs to be created in PS and added to site. Here’s one I did using a background from my camera roll.
