Andrea Mislan

Andrea is a professional dancer, singer, actress, and certified somatic movement coach who helps people reconnect with their bodies to feel more confident, expressive, and at ease in everyday life.

With a foundation in decades of performance and body-based training, her passion for movement has evolved into a clear mission: to empower others through accessible, mindful practices that heighten awareness and support lasting, meaningful change.

Andrea graduated with distinction from Canada’s Royal Winnipeg Ballet’s Professional Division and has since built a diverse career in contemporary and musical theatre. Her credits include Celine Dion’s A New Day, Cirque du Soleil’s Viva Elvis, and the national tour of Chicago the Musical. Now based in St. Paul, MN, she continues to perform with Twin Cities institutions like The Guthrie Theater, The Ordway, and Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.

Years of navigating her own injuries and coordination imbalances led Andrea to explore the body’s natural patterns of organization. This journey sparked her dedication to making that knowledge accessible, offering tools that empower people to assess their own bodies, shift old habits, and move with more clarity and connection. Certified in Yoga, Clinical Somatic Education, Franklin MethodⓇ, and AiM (Anatomy in Motion), Andrea guides movers of all levels toward embodied, efficient movement.

Rooted in somatic principles, Andrea’s work invites you to tune in to what your body is truly experiencing. Through gentle, intentional exploration, you’ll connect with your nervous system and begin to release the layers of excess tension held over time. You’ll learn to recognize imbalances in your movement patterns and rediscover a sense of center, coordination, and ease, bringing calm, clarity, and empowerment to both body and mind. As she often says: “When the body is stuck, so is the mind.”
